I think its some type of daisy bush but I can't find anything like it.
I bought it at Clifton Nurseries in Little Venice. I'm wondering mainly whether it will survive the winter on my roof garden, 5 floors up in West London
Unfortunately, the flower on it's own is not much use for exact identification, (even with foliage it would be difficult).
The problem is the number of what used to be called Chrysanthemums on the market. I would guess that this is a form of the Paris Daisy, Argyranthemum frutescens, which is a tender perennial, and is unlikely to survive in such exposure. You could of course overwinter it inside but that brings its own problems.
Thank you. Having looked at some photos on google, thats exactly what it is.
I have quite a large purple Osteospermum and a Lisianthus I'm hoping will surge till next year so I will overwinter them all in a small lean-to greenhouse I have - will have to hope for the best!
